  4. SSCP Lived Experience of the Child - Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) - November 2022

This full-day interactive workshop delivered through Microsoft Teams is open to anyone who is involved in assessing the care provided to a child/ren within a family.

This module contributes towards Level 3 intercollegiate competency standards for clinical staff.

What is Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2):

GCP2 is an evidence-based assessment tool licensed by the NSPCC which is used for evaluating levels of parental care.  GCP2 is an assessment tool that focusses on children aged from birth to teenagers and their parent/s.  It provides an excellent way to measure and scale the quality of care delivered whilst keeping the child or young person at the centre and works well alongside Webstar or Whole Family Assessments in Shropshire.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Consolidate knowledge in relation to neglect.
  • Use shared language.
  • Understand the evidence based and nationally evaluated assessment tool.
  • Become licensed to use the GCP2

You can book your place on this course through Leap Into Learning
